The Sensible way to Study

As soon as I left School I realised that I didn’t want to do anymore studying for a while. I had done quite well in my exams, but it had also stressed me out quite a bit and I’d just had enough. I decided that I would be just as well served if I got myself a decent job with a local building company. I wanted to get some cash in my hands. So many people keep themselves in the education system for years and years – a lot of people don’t have any money they can call their own until they are in their late twenties, and even then they normally spend most of this money paying of their study debts! I like the idea of building up some money first before I embarked my degree.

After a few years I was earning well enough to be able to stop working and go back to school. However, I had gotten used to earning decent money and it wasn’t something I really wanted to give up. After a bit of research on the internet I discovered a great company called Kaplan. They had a great site with details of all their courses and it turned out that I could study part time and still earn money in my job! I had never really considered this possibility but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. My life didn’t have to stop in it’s tracks and I could keep my pocket nice and full, whilst qualifying for a degree!

I decided to take Kaplan up on one of their distance learning opportunities and I haven’t looked back since. After a few years I qualified and this enabled me to get back to back promotions in the company I was working for. All the while earning enough cash not to fall into debt!
